Lube Technician - Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Lube-Oil-Filter changes in a timely manner.
• Check fluid levels and tire pressures on every vehicle serviced.
• Lubricate every suspension fitting and door hinge.
• Perform general visual inspections and document the findings on the provided inspection report.
• Perform the required service in the allotted amount of time management has assigned to the service.
• Provide the Express Service Advisor with the inspection report for review with the customer.
• Report all safety concerns to the Express Service Advisor in the event of an equipment failure.
• Recommend only required, ethical vehicle repairs and services.
• Strive to meet all commitments from the Dealership and Manufacturer regarding the Express Lube or Express Service commitment.
• Keep work area clean at all times.
• Help with shop projects and initiate cleanliness and maintenance of shop equipment.
• Perform all work required properly per the service repair manual

Express Service Advisor

I-5 Toyota is looking for a highly motivated Express Service Advisor that is focused on customer satisfaction to join our team.  This individual will provide leadership in motivating, managing and evaluating Service Technicians. The Service Advisor will efficiently coordinate, schedule and manage Service Technician's time, while maintaining the work order process. This role will also communicate with the customer in regard to quotes, job status and scheduling.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attitude is everything-greet service department customers promptly and courteously
  • Listen to each customer and clearly articulate repair needs to techs
  • Upsell recommended/additional services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods
  • Provide accurate estimates of repair/maintenance costs
  • Adherence to dealership policy on customer vehicle care and operation
  • Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed of progress
  • Sell and manage extended warranties
  • Inspect repair quality and ensure that all work is complete
  • Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers
  • Handle minor customer concerns and complaints
  • Keep Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problems
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards
  • Check on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contact the customer regarding changes to estimate or time table for repairs
  • Generate service order estimations and quotes for customers
  • Review vehicle inspections, estimates, and recommend proper maintenance care to our valued customers for optimal vehicle performance.
  • Company Factory Training is provided & employee is responsible to keep training 100% current.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain an organized schedule
  • Conduct post-repair follow up
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Continue to maintain our company value, quality, and integrity
  • Determine and recommend required maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history.
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently.
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
